Allen, Glaessner, Hazelwood & Werth LLP is seeking a 3–5 year litigation associate to join our Public Entity practice group representing municipalities, school districts, and other public agencies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience and a clear path to trial work.
What you’ll do:
- Manage cases from filing through resolution
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and argue dispositive motions (demurrers, MSJs)
- Work directly with clients
- Participate in trial and case strategy
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong writing and motion practice skills
- Interest in developing as a trial attorney
- Active California Bar license
- Experience with public entity defense or the Government Tort Claims Act is a plus, not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $130,000 – $175,000 DOE, plus medical, dental, vision, life, LTD/STD, 401(k), and commuter benefits.
