Role Overview
Bernstein | Polsky is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our growing plaintiff personal injury practice in Boca Raton, Florida. We offer a competitive compensation package consisting of a substantial base salary plus performance-based commissions.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of litigation experience, exceptional courtroom instincts, and a passion for obtaining outstanding results for injured clients. While prior plaintiff personal injury experience is preferred, we also welcome accomplished insurance defense attorneys looking to transition to the plaintiff's side.
Applicants should have meaningful courtroom experience, including arguing hearings, taking and defending depositions, and handling cases through trial preparation. Trial experience is highly valued, as is the ambition to first-chair jury trials. Former Assistant State Attorneys and Assistant Public Defenders are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Manage complex litigation matters from intake through trial.
Develop and execute case strategy in collaboration with the firm's partners.
Take and defend depositions, prepare and argue substantive motions, and conduct mediations.
Work closely with expert witnesses and consultants to maximize case value.
Prepare cases for trial and serve as first or second chair at jury trials.
Provide exceptional client communication and maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
Mentor junior attorneys and litigation staff as the department continues to grow.
Qualifications
Active member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills.
Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy abilities.
Self-motivated with outstanding organizational and case management skills.
Trial experience preferred, with a demonstrated desire to become a lead trial attorney.
